SHADISPAZIO was born from a belief that spaces should do more than look beautiful — they should feel inevitable, as though they could only have existed exactly this way.

Founded in 2016 as part of the Royal Solid Wood family of companies, Shade Spazio Interni began with a simple conviction: that great interiors are built from the ground up, with real materials, real craftsmanship, and a team that sees a project through from first sketch to final installation.

For nearly a decade, we delivered interior projects across villas, cafés, restaurants, and commercial spaces — learning what it truly takes to create environments that endure, that photograph beautifully, and that feel just as good five years later as they did on opening day.

Shaikha Alatas is an Emirati entrepreneur, co-director, and the builder of RoyalSolidWood from the ground up, whose vision helps shape SHADISPAZIO’s identity across the Gulf region. With a deep appreciation for natural elegance, cultural depth, and intentional living, she brings a strategic and emotionally intelligent approach to the studio’s growth. Her entrepreneurial background in craftsmanship and luxury interiors, combined with her understanding of regional luxury and human experience, guides the creation of spaces that are not only beautiful, but meaningful, timeless, and deeply felt.

Dina Istova

Co-Director Interior Designer Operations

With over 20 years of experience in the design and furniture industry, Dina is both the creative force and operational backbone of SHADISPAZIO. As a practicing interior designer, she brings a hands-on design sensibility to every project — understanding not only how a space should look, but how it should live, function, and age gracefully.

Her deep industry network, production knowledge, and design eye ensure that what SHADISPAZIO conceives is always built to the standard clients expect and craftsmen are proud of.

Together, Shaikha and Dina bring a rare combination of business acumen, cultural breadth, and industry knowledge that positions Shade Spazio Interni as a studio capable of serving discerning clients from the Middle East and beyond.
